Lateral Vision began in 2014 when siblings Laura and Alex Tolson set out to solve a challenge - how to better showcase spaces online. While helping their parents list a farm cottage on Airbnb, they realised that traditional photos didn’t capture its character. Searching for a better way, they discovered virtual tours and became Google Trusted Photographers, creating Street View-style imagery for businesses. What began as a side project quickly grew into a business, leading to new opportunities in digital innovation.
Over the years, Lateral Vision expanded beyond Street View photography into custom virtual tours and immersive digital experiences including virtual and augmented reality. Today, the team focuses on CloudTour and Swyvl - helping businesses create, explore and share virtual site experiences with ease.
